Transport of Radioactive Materials
In Western Australia, the Radiological Council requires that the transport of radioactive substances is performed by, or under the direction or supervision of, a person who holds a current and valid licence under the Radiation Safety Act 1975, that permits them to transport radioactive substances.
Storage
Identification, assessment and appropriate regulated containment of radionuclides and storage in licenced facilities is all part of the lifecycle of commercial and industrial uses for radionuclides.
Deploying and disposing of the materials has rigid mandatory requirements and is interpreted and managed on your behalf.
