Radiation Professionals Australia are committed to assisting companies that require radiation safety training at an appropriate level, and in doing so, ensure that companies are aligned by the standards set by the relevant regulatory body.
In this specific case, the training was located in Papua New Guinea, which meant the training met the requirements set by the PNG government, Queensland’s Department of Health and the Western Australian Radiological Council.
One of the services we provide is onsite training – in this case, there were nine (9) workers that were required to take the Fixed Radiation Gauges course and it was more cost effective to send our trainer to Papa New Guinea. This had the advantage that practical component utilised the site’s existing radiation infrastructure.
